I definitely wasn't familiar with Phantom beyond recognising the mask but as soon as you said Some Mothers the light clicked on in my head.

I am British so I'm familiar with the show but for some reason, I read about him wearing a beret and jumped to a kind of beat poet character. Shows how distracted I was.

I have started dipping back into the sources and it's fun to see where I recognised somethings and to learn about the insane obscure references there is no chance I would have got.

At the moment I'm not beating myself up about when I'm not getting on with a book. I want to finish them all as part of the challenge but it must be millions of words and I can't expect them all to be good.
